This pivotal stage is set in motion when we meet in person for a comprehensive design consultation. The consultation is more than just a fact-finding mission; it’s about getting to know you and your project inside and out. By the end, we aim to have a strong sense of your personal style and your vision for your dream space.
During this design consultation, we dive deep into your project goals. Are you looking to expand your living room? Are you looking to redesign your outdated kitchen? Are you looking to renovate an old bathroom that just isn't performing for your family's needs? Maybe you want to repaint the exterior of your home and need help choosing a color to create more curb appeal? Or maybe you need help choosing new furniture and accessories to update your child's bedroom.
We gather everything from tear sheets and inspiring images that speak to your vision, to photographs of your space, your budget, original floor plans, and any relevant details about the property—such as its architectural classification and information on the surrounding area. These insights are key to ensuring that we’re in tune with your home’s history, its potential, and most importantly, your unique style.
Our goal at this meeting is to fully understand the scope of your project from every angle. We want to know your design preferences, how you want your space to feel, and what elements are most important to you. This holistic approach helps us get to the core of your vision.
Once we have this comprehensive understanding, our team gets to work on creating concept boards that will guide the design process moving forward. These boards pull together a variety of visual inspiration, including curated interior shots, a selection of products that align with your project, as well as material samples and paint swatches that bring the project to life. It’s through these visuals that we help tell your story, translating your ideas into a cohesive and tangible design direction.
